A song of deep seeing and devotion.
This piece opens the heart’s longing to witness and embrace the sacredness in another — to meet life fully, without walls, without fear.
Poem
I want to see you
like the sun sees the morning,
to look deep within and rise,
to support your gorgeous blooming.
I want to see you
like the dolphin sees the water,
to swim in your presence,
our dance becomes one,
breathing in sync with each other.
I want to see you
just as the night sees the stars,
to hold space for your beauty
so you shine light in this world of ours.
I would love to see you
in the ways the desert sees the rain,
to empty myself completely
and receive all of you without complaint.
I would love to meet you
like distance meets infinity.
All boundaries of logic fall,
and I get lost in your mystery.
