📜 Written Lesson 4: Let It All Burn... Set Your Heart Free

Why This Matters:

We spend years collecting things — not just possessions, but ideas, opinions, identities — all in the name of safety. But as Tiger says:

“I'll give you security tomorrow if you don't be honest today.”

This is why the heart feels trapped. Because we've traded the unknown for a script. We've let our fire be smothered by stuff — and we call it stability. But real life doesn’t begin until you let go of what isn’t true… even if it means starting from nothing.

Example: Building a Business That Quietly Owns You

You created something meaningful — a brand, a business, a body of work. But now it owns you. You’re afraid to pivot, pause, or admit you’ve changed because of how “they” might see you. So you keep going, even though the spark is gone. Tiger puts it clearly: “What is a long life that’s caged? Doesn’t sound like life at all.”

Example: The Stuff You Bought to Feel Loved

You bought the couch. The house. The nice shoes. But when you're alone, none of it makes you feel real. You're not shallow — you're scared. Scared that if you stop performing, you’ll lose approval. So you bury the ache with more stuff. As Tiger says, “All this stuff just helps me hide from my insecurities.”

Example: The Identity You Can’t Let Go

You’ve been the achiever, the strong one, the one who knows. But lately that identity feels tight — like a costume you forgot how to take off. Still, you cling to it. Not because it’s true… but because you’re afraid of what’s underneath. Tiger says, “Maybe it’s time to file for bankruptcy. Say okay, I’m done with all this.” Not in shame — but in freedom.

Reflection Questions

  • What are you afraid will happen if you stop pretending to have it all together?
  • What “stuff” — physical, mental, or emotional — has become a shield between you and what’s real?
  • If you burned the script today… what part of you might finally feel free?
