Naturally, it's important for the person who recognizes its importance. If it's not important for someone, then there's no need to worry. However, it's essential not to shy away from the opportunity if there's something within us that's open to sharing our experiences, talents, and knowledge in a way that adds value to other people's lives, and getting paid for it in the process.
Hiding from a deeper WHY is a common occurrence because it demands a new level of accountability for our life experience. The more honest we get about what we desire, the more it will ask of us new levels of growth and responsibility. We often say we don't want that new depth of responsibility, but only in many cases because we are afraid to fail.
Behind this fear of failure, if we see the potential for success and how much value it can add to our lives, we might discover a deeper willingness to grow and take on more responsibility.
We've seen this play out in our lives countless times. Initially, we may believe that we don't want to experience something, but with greater honesty, we realize that we actually do. We are simply, and innocently, afraid.
